TikTok is an element of the Chinese security apparatus, according to former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. The Treasury Department has this committee on foreign investment in the United States. They evaluate national security risks associated with foreign owned companies and their decisions carry the force of law. So they really do have the authority to shut this down. It would be a radical action. It would get a lot of blowback. We have not seen this on a large scale.
