The Fed's Predictions for a Rate Hike
The market sees a more than 90% chance that the Federal Reserve will pause today, not raise interest rates. The Fed is trying to gauge the economic effects of the 500 basis points of hikes they've done. Among the questions we're trying to figure out is does Powell say rates are now quote sufficiently restrictive? And finally, the possibility of the Fed's own median forecast rises, sealing support for at least one more hike this year.
