Plec harus was a large marine reptile from the early to middle damacic periods. It had four flippers and a tail that it used for mobility, which is why the notorious flipper photo caused so much excitement. Scientists agree that it's unlikely for nessi to be a plecius saurus. However, they feel it's entirely possible for the locnes monster to be a creature that evolved from the plesius arus.
