David's sons were the chief officials in the service of the king. Psalm 14, denunciation of godlessness to the choir master: "There is none that does good" The lord looks down from heaven upon the children of men to see if there are any that act wisely; they have all gone astray. Israel shall be glad when the lord restores the fortunes of his people.
