The book is about a group of people who come together in Florence. They're all here as tourists, but they also have their own ideas of culture and how culture should be. Of course, forester isn't necessarily just interested in the hotel, but i did feel like he's interested in lucy'sa opening up her perspective. I've read howard's end, but im but not a room with a view. But i guess i know the story from the hope, from the film, the merchant ivory film that you mentioned. Yes, i may begin to do something bad here and say that might be good enough.
