The Reunion of a Father and Son

Jacob has joseph for the first 17 years of his son's life, and then he will have him beside him for the last 17 years. And during that time, of course, jacob assumed that joseph was was dead. So this understandably atearful reunion of a father and son is amazing to watch. In fact i can't help hearing there an echo of what we're going to encounter in luke's gospel,. when simeon is in the temple and he's been promised that he won't die until he's seen the lord's christ.
