My family originally founded this company in 1804 in Japan, so 220 years ago. We expanded to the United States in 1978, and of course it was not me who did it. And why did my father bring the soy sauce business to the US? Initially, it was not intentional. So, he quit his job at the other and setting up the soy sauce importing office in the US. In 1987, we built a factory in Richmond, Virginia and started producing soy sauce from the various grudge that is our history.
