i was at first inclined to think that this was purely random, because it's clear that papyrus burns well. And the romans used to use papyrus for kindling funeral pyres, and they talk about it in some poems. Still, i think we can tell from the style that this thing was written in the fifth century, that it was written probably round about 420 b c. Is this paris itself, or is this a second edition? O third edition? Itis rat was a copy, because, of course, there was no printing. But so this would have to be a copy of the author's original autograph. That original autograph should have come into being
