Climate Change and the Ozone Hole
The playbook for how to stall action on climate change was perfected with another crisis. And that was the ozone hole. The dominant message back then, science is unsettled, we have time. So right as that treaty came into force banning the ozone chemicals, so did the issue of climate change come to the fore. But it's vastly more complicated than the ozone hole issue and almost everything we do contributes to greenhouse gas.
