i find that the interaction, even if it's chat, is what makes me feel connected to people. If you're attending at all, and there er speakers, speakers love getting questions. It kind of shows that you're paying attention. So don't be shy tipe those questions in. You are able to be ther in person, ask the questions. And get ingto the slack, there'll be loads of people watching. I'm every time i go on swifter hand, i see a photo of some one not thinking they're in ela. And i'm kind of jealous.
