The prosecutor said that the PTSD was because she had just carved a baby out of someone's stomach. Instead of bringing her defense attorneys, they read a poem about rape in their closing arguments. There was just so much misogyny in the whole case. Being a woman makes it less likely that you'll be sentenced to death as 2% of death row inmates are women.
