The One Is Fine if It's the Right Thing to Do
The one is fine if it's the right thing to do. The two is fine as long as we take into consideration, how is this going to make other people feel? Not just how is it going to effect, how it's going to affect them. Threes are more guided by practical considerations than by ideals. If you win the tos over, you've just created a raving fan about a decision. For a leader, they're a walking advertisement for the wisdom of a decision.
