Penetration Testing in Education Environments
Penetration testing is intrusive. It requires participation not only from the team and the testers, but also from the system owners. All of our systems have to handle that kind of thing. You just don't do these willy-nilly. This is not a gotcha test. This is a we're working together to see if we can make the system better. We need to desensitize system owners from anything other than what we're here to help them. The skills that are necessary to mint a top pen tester could attract a higher price tag outside education.
