The Importance of Domestic Politics in the Middle East

Biden is not the president you want to deal with a foreign policy, foreign relations emergency or perhaps a catastrophe. The one person who could probably get out of this is Donald Trump who's on the sidelines right now. And I would encourage him to do everything he can to try to calm Putin in the midst of what is an increasingly perilous situation.
