Heart rate variability, with more time between each heart beat improves your ability to manage stress. So when you can calm your heart rate, this calms your breath, which calms your mind and body. Now i invite you to settle yourself down and get ready to meditate. As you sit with your emotions, allow them, not suppressing them. Allow yourself to experience the emotion and name this emotion. You may notice a sense of relief in your heart when you acknowledge how you're feeling. It doesn't mean the pain or feeling will go away. It simply means that your awareness and attention to how your feeling allows you to process the emotion.
