relations between the new statesmen and the Labour Party were quite poor for quite a long time. I think now finally we're at a stage where the Labour Party is no longer meaningful at all to define people while they're serious. But certainly that period, there was an awful lot of that around and I do and it became quite paranoid still as I'm sure Steve will remember from 'The TV GBs'
