Is the Republican Party in Trouble?
I don't think many would challenge the control of the party at the Trumpest nature of the party. But what is changed, and what is going to give us a test of the hypothesis that the party is now in trouble? He forced even his closest supporters into this impossible loyalty test like Pence. And it's this impossible position that has led people to think that the GOP has now got to change. We're very in very early days, but I think we can already see some important manifestations that make it clear that any idea that the Republican Party as a Trumpest party is going to quickly be transcended should be put in some question.
