Bianchi's Killing of Karen Mandek
Karen Mandek asked her roommate, Diane Wilder, to come with her because Bianchi said he was installing a burger system at a home in southern Bellingham. When they got there at the house, he killed both of them, then took their bodies in their car and moved them to a place not too far from where he killed them. In interviews with psychiatrists in the 1970s, Bianchi gives insights into these murders.
