The History of the Nationalist Party in China

Song Jiaogren was one of the original revolutionaries tasked by Sun Yat-san to organize what became known as the KMT. He brokered the formation of a new party made up of the revolutionary alliance with three other smaller parties of similar politics. In January 1913, the Nationalist Party, also known as the Guaman Dang, or KMT, they win more than half the parliamentary seats.
