Protein is the most satiating macronutrient. Some people need more depending on their physical activity typically with age protein needs increase as well. I don't usually recommend extremelyextremely high levels of protein because I get concerned about the impact that it has on the gut microbiome. Overall we start with 1.2 grams per kilogram.
