The Structure of a Book
The book moves us historically through time while also moving us through the physical ideas. The idea that there are these different space time structures that are clearly related to each other is very deeply embedded in the philosophy of physics literature. So you can think of part of what I'm doing is just taking this idea of hierarchies of structure and presenting it more visually, following the historical development as you make adjustments to the theory.
