The treatment of Tutankhamun's corpse, you discuss in some detail in the book about the various back and forths over how should they treat it. There were a lot of misinterpretations based on the faulty reassembling of the corpse. I think one interesting thing is that Howard Carter, who is so careful about conserving the other artifacts in the tomb, seems far more casual about the preservation of the king's body.
