Khalid Wazir: A Pakistani Cricketer's Story
Khalid Wazir played 16 of the first-class games and he played 14 of them on that one tour of England. There's a fast bowler called Mamut Hussain who died in Finsbury Park in 1991. A spinner, a shoe jawd in but who spent time as a POW in that 1971 war and he died in London in 2006. Wasim Raja, who's a very prominent player and the brother of Rames Raja, was an opening bat. He became Pakistan coach. At their peak, he averaged well over 50 in that era, made two centuries against them. And he had a heart attack while fielding, playing a game for Surrey over 50
