Tech Experts Ask Supreme Court to Rule That Section 230 Protections Apply to Algorithmic Recommendations
Ben Yellen, John Pescatore: An amicus brief for a Supreme Court case that's going to be heard sometime in the fall of 2023. The suit is called Gonzalez v. Google and it comes from the family of a woman who was killed in the 2015 Paris terrorist attacks. What the plaintiffs are arguing here is that Section 230 should not cover what they refer to as recommended content.
