The Case of John Crawford in Saskatoon

Crawford was sent to Saskatchewan Penitentiary at Prince Albert. During this prison sentence, Crawford was in and out of the Regional Psychiatric Center as a result of his anxiety, self-mutilations and bizarre behavior. He slashed his own wrists in order to go to solitary and to get away from other prisoners. In 1989, Crawford is released from prison under mandatory supervision after serving seven of his 10 years.
