What Is Refine and What Does It Do?

Zod gives you validation on individual like properties of an object let's say that's a really common one. Refine lets you operate at a higher level than the normal validations that you do. You can reuse these validations as well so you would have then a type which is like or a schema which is sorted array that you could then reuse in various places across your application.
