The Importance of Fishing in the Northwest Coast

In the Northwest coast, we typically think about sand. And there's a huge push to get salmon at this time of the year and then you get the salmon stored. We took that model and put it on the Delaware River and the Chesapeake Bay and the like. There were huge runs of fish here, like American shad, for example. You can catch many of these fish going in one or another direction at different times.
