Is the Banks Sector in a State of Fluctuation?
Irish banks were losing money hand over fist on track mortgages and the cost of borrowing on international markets, or and so forth. The state ended up in a new IMF bailout for three years. But my main issue is that they've sort of been hands off on mortgage rates for a long time. And now they're hands on on mortgage rates when they're raising the ECB rates. I just think that's inconsistent.
