Probably a Viking Town, Right?
The vikings had gradually moved by sea out of scandinavia, sort of island hopping westward to iceland, then greenland, and then gradually closer to mainland north america. They settled for a time in a land called finland, but they soon after were attacked by local people, whom they called grailings,. or little ugly people, who forced them to retreat back to greenland. We don't know exactly where vinland was; we do know that vikings definitely settled at least as far into the americas as the northern coast of the island of newfoundland right in what's now canada. There has been major viking archaeological site found there
