The Three Ways Thatcherism Changed Britain in the 1980s
One individual politician, however iconic they are does not actually change the whole world around them. Thatcherism marks the end of that post-saturism moment when we're all doing it together and the state has a responsibility to ameliorate the worst elements of capitalism or competition. And with that, I think a shift from a kind of collective view to an individual individualised view took place.
