Sex Is Not the Core of Humanity
While sex is very important, it's not the core of what it means to be humanand for two reasons. Even back in genesis, where we see that man needs a partner who is other than him sexually - even then his identity is still as god's image bearer. And in the other place, jesus tells us that in the eternal state there won't be marriage. Sex has many purposes, typological purposes. Purposes in our dominion, mandate and in fruitfulness and in pre an communicating many glorious things.
