The Importance of Delisting Wildlife

Why is it so difficult for species that essentially by all accounts have recovered to get those species delisted? Well, people love animals. If I've learned anything in being in the conservation movement, wildlife just brings out in people this incredible emotion and passion. But again, there's this notion you notice whenever a species comes up for delisting or down listing,. meaning going from in danger to threaten.
