The German Government's Plan to Rescue Deutsche Bank
Germany was drawing up plans to rescue Deutsche Bank back in 2016. That was at the time you mentioned about this two and a half billion fine. What happened was they wanted to use them as the hazard of what would be the poster child of everything that's wrong in finance. But when these things get paid, which is often several years later, the fine is tiny comparative to where it started.
