The Importance of Editing Vocals
The equipment almost has nothing to do with making it sound like a million dollars. The most important part is that there's a big quality difference between vocalists or engineers that spend the time editing the vocals afterwards. Even if you have Beyonce in the studio with that much experience and vocal prowess is still needs editing. If you are an artist that are just sending raw vocals without spending any time editing no comping not redoing sections that you weren't the best this is all just serious laziness.
