The Avnoi Conference in 1943 Was a Key Moment During the War
The Avnoi Conference in 1943 was a kind of official foundation of a Republican project of a new Yugoslav federation. It was a de facto conflict with Stalin, socialism in one country and division of the world into spheres of influence on the back of the people. So the influence of the partisans and communist leaders was concretely associated to the way they organized the struggles. In occupied territory, or occupied by the partisans, that is freed from the domination of fascists and of the Allies, there was distribution of lands to the peasants,. Administration and cultural organization of the daily life by the new Committee of Liberation were very popular.
