The Great Resignation
There were 47 million employee quits in one year, one third of the entire American workforce. People are willing to say, I don't care what happens, I'm not doing that job anymore. That was a soul sucking job. It was meaningless. And if I have to work on a farm and eke buy at, you know, subsistence, I'm going to do it because I need something that's more fulfilling than just bringing home the paycheck. These are family centered vocations. Use look with a view of history and historical professions that have provided this kind of meaning and significance in the past.
