She's Like the Sunshine. Yeah.

I always thought about her. She, when she decided to not pursue her dream of becoming a concert pianist, she experienced a living death. The film is a love letter to his parents, but particularly to his mum. There is so much humanity in that character. I just wonder how many of these women were modern souls in 1960s? Choices of a limited housewife, you know, those are the lives that they had to live. And actually they wanted freedom, but they had to make sacrifices.
