When you’re young, it can be difficult to find the direction in life in which you want your compass to point.
Before you can begin your journey, you have to find a direction to start. And the best way to do that is progress by elimination.
Alright, truth bomb here, I am nearing 40. And looking at where I am now, how I got here, there are a few factors that stand out. The first is luck.
And the second is progress by elimination. And being young gives you a special advantage with this. You have the energy and drive to do many things.
You’re going to fail at most of them, but that’s the elimination aspect. You simply move on to the next thing.
And eventually you will find the right thing… that’s your direction. Then the real journey begins.
