Is There a Virtue in Human Leafiness?

Maths is the science of patterns. Humans have become very good at spotting patterns, because it's given us an evolutionary advantage. If we have data, and we can spot some sort of pattern in that data, then we can read that data into the future. And so i think our laziness actually might be our saving grace. An a i on a computer just doesn't get tired. Iiit can keep on working on a problem. It doesn't need to be lazy. But if you're faced with adding up numbers from one to a million, most of us, if we're going to do it the boring way, the computer doesn't mind doing that the hard way.
