The Impact of Supporting Queer Shows
I don't think people really understand what it means to support something. We need to be there so we can see more of them because if we all rush out to see the show, we can probably get it on for much longer. The stakes of that one ticket makes a very strong difference in my ability to fund the next show I'm trying to make. But also like making sort of like small scale French theater for instance, like just to make this show, I owe the festival a thousand pounds. If I don't make a thousand pounds in ticket sales, I owe them. I just owe them for that.
