How to Feed a Patient or Athlete

Many of the female athletes that I end up seeing their existing on 1700 calories a day and their output is 3000 right. So we don't ever say you need to know 1000 calories we go okay let's take a step back and make sure that you're having something before your morning session. And then, at every meal we're getting 30 to 40 grams of protein. We start really fueling in around all the sessions making sure that they have adequate fuel to hit the intensities and the durations that they need.
