The Importance of Foliar Potassium in Corn Production
There are a growing number of subjects demonstrating that foliar potassium outperforms soil applied cave fertilizers and it's much more effective. The second consideration to improve grain size is silica now silica improves nutrient translocations throughout the plant including into the seed. One Egyptian study for example looked at maize response to foliar of potassium silicate they found that a 1% potassium silicate which is 1 litre per hectare and 100 litre of water was particularly productive in fact they chronicled significant increases in plant height, ear length, ear diameter, grain weight and grain and straw yield following those 3 foliar applications.
