Afghanistan Papers - It Wasn't a Bombshell, but It Was Harrowing
I was also thinking about, you know, when the afghanistan papers came out, which was pretty recently, nobody really cared. And i wondered if part of the reason might be that, a, like you were saying, a certain type of fatigue where people don't respond to things unless it's mass his directed mes or like louis de joy took away my mail box. I mean, ice is just outlandish and horrifying. Like, you don't have to change any of their normal legal practices for it to be horrifying. But there's a way in which it really distracts from the corps issues when these more sensational stories start to flutter around.
