The Dark Knight - A Review
By the fourth page, my impression of vernon is that he's just kind of a pompous jerk. I think all this magic stuff represented so much emotional torture for petunia. Maybe vernon even knew that, and that's why so hasty in covering it up or pushing it away. So maybe he's trying to try to help her. And if that's the case, it really humanizes his character, and he's not so bad, maybe. What d you think of that?
