The History of Area 51

The F-117 Nighthawk was the first functional stealth fighter to ever come into existence and it spawned an entirely new generation of fighter jet. The planes were made with an outer layer of material capable of deflecting radar waves as they struck it. This would make these planes virtually invisible to radar. Lockheed designed a plane it called Have Blue, specifically designed to evade radar detection.
