The Weirdness of Probability
I think there's a difference between the sort of using probability as a way to sort of control the weirdness of contingency and then the weirdness that's introduced when the low probability wins. And this is actually a very important insight into one dimension of the weird. So it's a place to locate things that are both conceivable in a rational way or statistical probabilistic way and yet have this, you know, extra quality to them. Does this make any sense? I would phrase it slightly different.
