The Black Douglas Story
How did the man himself come to live the rest of his life? It's actually it's an interesting story. After the Goldfields experience Douglas State in Victoria, where he seems to have kind of moved in and out of benevolent institutions and pubs. And at the end of his life, which was quite late, so he passed away in the 1890s. But one thing that's quite remarkable and that really seems to capture for me the kind of the person who was Black Douglas is the way that he lived theend of his life.
