Joe Biden and the Debt Limit

House Republicans have now unveiled a debt limit proposal. They're going to raise at 1.5 trillion, basically giving the government a year to get their act together. Other proposed cuts include raising the age limit on work requirements to receive federal food aid with the supplemental nutrition assistance program or SNAP from 50 to 56 years old. The bill would also prevent the Biden administration from limiting consumer access to gas stoves and ovens.
