Y Religion

Introduction
The first time that i ever personally visited carthage jail, i wept walking the same stairs that the mob ascended. And to this day, i can barely speak of the martyrdom of joseph and hiram smith without becoming a little emotional. I've had similar experiences visiting other tragic places, such as the nine 11 memorial in new york city or the holycast museum in israel. Visiting historic sights of tragedy is something that professor scott esplan from bo's department of church history and doctrine has recently published on. Do we have sights associated with our history and our faith that explore torism? And we doand we have something to say about it
