The word petaphile is just thrown in all the bad things you can be. You and I know the Communist Party was rather prim and de-sexual. There is a conservative feminism that equates sexual speech with sexual harm, pornography with violence. The left certainly has its prudery. Here's a good example: Every single NPR story, there's a little warning in the beginning.
